This is the story of RG Kar Medical College of West Bengal, where on the midnight of August 8-9, a Trainee Doctor fell asleep in the seminar hall of the college due to being tired after working continuously for several hours. And then the same night at around 1 am, the accused Sanjay comes to the college and drinks alcohol in large quantities and also watches some 18+ videos.

After this, accused Sanjay goes to the seminar hall at around 4 o’clock in the night where the trainee doctor is already sleeping deeply. Seeing the trainee doctor sleeping, accused Sanjay went near him and started forcing himself on him. When the trainee doctor tried to run away, the accused hit him on the face and his spectacles broke. The trainee doctor’s glasses broke and the glasses went into her eyes and her eyes burst due to which she was experiencing severe pain.

But the trainee doctor still did not give up and to protect himself from the accused Sanjay, he tried to attack him with his hand, in which his nails were also injured. To control the trainee doctor, the accused beat him so much that his lips started bleeding. The accused damaged the face of the trainee doctor and also caused serious injuries on his stomach and the trainee doctor was bleeding profusely due to injuries on his private parts. At that time the trainee doctor was fighting between life and death but the accused still did not listen.

After this, the trainee doctor became unconscious after which the accused raped her. And then in the end, the accused Sanjay strangled the trainee doctor to death.

An attempt was made to suppress this gruesome murder in West Bengal and it was said that the trainee doctor had committed suicide but when several protests took place and the autopsy report came out, the truth came out which made it clear that she was raped. And then murdered.

The accused has not been punished in this west bengal trainee doctor case yet. This trainee doctor case of West Bengal has been handed over to the CBI and the investigation is ongoing.

What should be done to ensure that the west bengal trainee doctor case is not repeated in India?

First of all, overduties should be eliminated, if for this an extra doctor has to be kept then that should be done.

If there are women doctors in any hospital or medical college, then a separate cabin should be made for them so that their security can be ensured.

Many times when a patient dies, the patient’s family members behave aggressively. In such a situation, guards should be kept for the security of the doctors.

There should also be a security department in the hospital in which some policemen should always be present so that they can be of help in case of emergency.

We should train our sisters and daughters so that they can protect themselves from such predators.

The accused of such rape should be given such harsh punishment that no one would do such a thing again.

Whoever is accused of this, he should not be spared under any circumstances.
